At St Anthony Dental, our mission is to help people from all walks of life. Named after our patron saint, St. Anthony, Dr Aslan opened this practice with the intention of returning lost smiles and confidence to everyone.
Our practice has teamed up with the Australian Dental Health Foundation, Rebuild Smiles and The St. Vincent De Paul Foundation to help people who otherwise couldn’t gain access to or afford Dental Treatment. We have had many people from various backgrounds walk out with a smile on their faces.
As a private patient of St Anthony Dental, simply by attending the practice for your regular dental work, you make a massive difference in helping the disadvantaged and make a positive impact in their lives. The private dental care that we provide helps keep the foundation afloat, by generating income to cover the running, equipment and material costs of our appointments with those in need. The dentists and staff at St Anthony Dental are only the vehicle, our patients and our community are the drivers that allow the foundation to continue and succeed.
If you are a patient without the access of dental treatment and would like to apply for support from our charitable dental program, please begin your application here to see if you qualify:
It’s important to visit your dentist regularly for routine checkups to prevent significant tooth and gum problems. However, many patients (through no fault of their own) are afraid of the pain and discomfort they may experience during their visit.
This is why we’re focused on Compassionate Dentistry.
Our compassion comes from genuine care and concern for our patients. We have over 30 years of experience in treating patients of all ages. So whether you’re a child or an adult, our goal is to listen first, and then give the best advice we can.
At St Anthony Dental, we take Compassionate Dentistry seriously. We believe in giving back to the less fortunate in our community and providing them with access to dental care. See our Compassionate Dentistry work with Mercy Dental Project and how you can be a part of it.
By attending the practice for your regular dental work creates income to help the disadvantaged.

Sydneysiders with a sweet tooth flock to Five Dock’s patisseries and cremerias, but now people with no cash to spare are going to a surgery on Ramsay St where smiles are fixed for free.
Dr Robert Aslan, 61, has done more than $250,000 worth of volunteer dental work for some of Sydney’s most disadvantaged people since launching his St Anthony Dental practice on the saint’s feast day in June last year.
We believe in making our dental treatments as comfortable and easy as possible. When you come for a treatment at St Anthony Dental, this is the assurance you’ll get:
You’ll always have a comprehensive examination. Using the latest technology, we carefully map out what has happened in the past and predict what may happen in the future. We can even use a 3D colour image to understand your mouth better and formulate a strategy to restore your dental health.
We will be as transparent and clear as possible and eliminate guesswork. Our 3D X-rays use very low radiation exposure to see what’s happening in hidden areas to determine an issue.
You will be in a safe environment where you’ll feel secure with your treatment.
You will be given as many options as possible for your treatment, and as much time as you need to consider these options.
You’ll be provided with plenty of after-treatment follow up from our staff and dentist. Our treatments do not stop after the procedure.
